MINIMAL/CONCEPTUAL

Poster for the exhibition ‘MINIMAL/CONCEPTUAL’ held in Nagoya, Japan.

The text is laid out regularly on a grid following the minimalism rule, a style of expression that does not elaborate on decorative touches but rather omits them to the bare minimum.

Inspired by Dan Flavin's pioneering use of colour and angles in minimalism, the fluorescent lamps stand out in the exhibition space. The blue colour scheme was based on the brand identity of the Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art.

Nominated for the Chief Jury Prize at Nagoya Design Award 2022.
